  • What is non-medical home care?
    Non-medical home care provides services to seniors who prefer to continue to live at home but need a little assistance to do so.  These services may be performed at their own homes, the homes of family members, or independent and assisted living facilities.

  • What services are provided?
    Services include companionship, shopping and errands, light housekeeping, meal planning and preparation, incidental transportation, laundry, medication reminders and personal care such as dressing and bathing.

  • Are your services only for seniors?
    No, we provide care for individuals of all ages, such as new mothers, or people recovering from recent surgery, illness or accidents.  We also provided respite care to ease the stress of family members caring for their loved ones.

  • Does Medicare pay for this service?
    Unfortunately, non-medical home care is not covered by Medicare.  However, some long-term insurances are now paying for this type of service if certain qualifications are met.  They are now realizing this is less expensive than a nursing home or assisted living facility.

  • Will I have the same caregiver every time?
    At HomeChoice, we understand the importance of continuity of care and will make every effort to keep you with the same caregiver.

  • Do I have to sign a contract?
    Yes, HomeChoice requires you to sign a client service agreement, however you may cancel your service at any time.

  • How much does this service cost?
    The cost of our service is based on the amount of care you need.  You decide how often and when you need us.  You will find HomeChoice affordable and very convenient.

  • How does the service start?
    First, we provide a free comprehensive in-home assessment to create a detailed care plan that addresses all your specific needs.  Then, we introduce and match you with a caregiver based on the skills required and personality traits needed for a good relationship.

  • What if I have concerns?
    To continually improve our service and provide you with only the best care, our management performs weekly quality assurance visits in your home to address any concerns or desires you may have.
